"ABC, 123"... actually, just the ABC's.

A is for age: "i am 16 going on 17..." what a lame song. i will be 17 in 3 months and one day.

B is for burger of choice: i prefer a cheeseburger actually. with fry sauce, lettuce, and occasionally pickles. i'm not a huge fan of fried burgers...i like them off the grill.

C is for the car I drive: i drive our tahoe but it's not mine. i wish i drove the old ford, also known as the iron clad.

D is for your dog's name: i don't have a dog. we used to...but i'm pretty sure it hated me.

E is for essential item you use every day: the potty. or anything with music coming from it.

F is for favorite TV show at the moment: king of queens. always has been, always will be.

G is for favorite game: like kristin said, i love cards. but, i also love the enticing thrill of monopoly.

H is for home state: good old utah. i met someone from california who called me a utard...ha.

I is for instruments you play: umm...i kinda play the piano. i stopped taking lessons though.

J is for favorite juice: i'm a fan of orange juice. but, on some days, apple juice is glorious.

K is for whose bum you'd like to kick: ha. i'll keep that to myself. WAIT! i would love to kick any member of rascal flatts in the "bum."

L is for last restaurant at which you ate: cripes...i don't know if i can remember. probably robintinos.

M is for your favorite Muppet: kermit the frog.

N is for number of piercings: one on each ear :]

O is for overnight hospital stays: none...i've never really been injured or really sick. maybe i'm defective.

P is for people you were with today: my mom and dad, amy, todd, averi, briggs, maggie, dalton, lindsay, brad, max, sadie, jeff, ashlee, gordon, roberta, and then some people that i didn't really know....we were at the cabin.

Q is for what you do with your quiet time: since when do i have "quiet time?" umm...sleep, watch movies, read, anything.

R is for biggest regret: i don't have any regrets.

S is for status: bored!

T is for time you woke up today: i'm not exactly sure....i think like 9:30 or 10. i fell asleep on the couch last night while everyone was all telling jokes and stories...i missed out.

U is for what you consider unique about yourself: hmm. i have c.d.o. it's like o.c.d., but the letters are in alphabetical order; like they should be. that's all i can think of.

V is for vegetable you love: vinegar cucumbers :] haha i hope that counts as a vegetable...

W is for worst habit: procrastination. me and a friend even have a club! u.o.p.c. (utah's official procrastination club) we'll have more members once we get around to telling people about it.

X is for x-rays you've had: none. unless you count the dental ones.

Y is for yummy food you ate today: ha! i had tons. oreos, cheddar chex mix, vanilla coke, etc.

Z is for zodiac: scorpio. what a lame question.

"i'm falling into memories of you...and things we used to do..."

i was going to copy and paste the little "memory" post that everyone is doing...but i thought it was a tad boring. so i'll save you from reading the i-already-know-what-this-is-going-to-say-so-
why-am-i-reading-it post that is going around, and i'll just leave these instructions.

1. think of a memory you have with me...big or little.
2. think really hard about it.
3. think twice before you post it as a comment.
4. seriously think about posting it.
5. then post it.

P.S. the title of this post is from the song "one year, six months" by yellowcard. :D

"summertime is finally here...you can't help but smile"

so i'm just sitting here listening to bob marley, jack johnson, kenny chesney, you know, the chill fellas...and i just got extremely excited for summer and realized that it is definitely here, and i love it. here are some classic lyrics for summer from some tunes that are basically my theme songs at the moment.

"school's out and the nights roll in...man, just like a long lost friend you ain't seen in a while...you can't help but smile." - kenny chesney.
"awake from your sleep and slumber...today could bring your lucky number...the sun is shining and the weather is sweet." -bob marley.
"who's to say i can't do everything? well i can try. i want to turn the whole thing upside down.
i'll find the things they say just can't be found...i don't want this feeling to go away." -jack johnson.

anyways, this season is by far the best. it's so chill. school's over, teachers are out of your face, drama is gone (for the most part), the coke cans are cracking open, the tan is coming back, the flip flops come out of the closet, and, now that i'm 16, the men are rolling in. so overall, i'd say it's pretty dern great. here are a couple pics of some random crap my friends and i did a while ago.

ha. peace out.

"i'm only me when i'm with you."

i'm pretty sure this is the best song ever....ummm, yeah. it is. if you don't have it, get it. the best part of the song is quite obvious. :]

Friday night beneath the stars
In the field of behind your yard
You and I are painting pictures in the sky.
And sometimes we don't say a thing
Just listen to the crickets sing
Everything I need is right here by my side.

And I know everything about you
I don't wanna live without you

Just a small town boy and girl
Living in a crazy world
Trying to figure out what is and isn't true
And I don't try to hide my tears
My secrets or my deepest fears
Through it all nobody gets me like you do

And you know everything about me
You say that you can't live without me

When I'm with anybody else
It's so hard to be myself
And only you can tell

That I'm only up when you're not down
Don't wanna fly if you're still on the ground
It's like no matter what i do
Well you drive me crazy half the time
The other half I'm only trying to
Let you know that what I feel is true
And I'm only me
Who I wanna be
Well I'm only me when I'm with you

............enough said :]

"you have stolen my heart."

so prom was on saturday!!!
i went to davis' prom with brysen rasmussen. we had 30 people in our group, it was huge.
here's some pics. i put his corsage on the second try! woot woot! anyways on friday, for our day activity, we went to a drive-in and saw forbidden kingdom (with jackie chan and jet li, which was pretty sweet) and leatherheads, which was really funny. then on saturday we went to rodizios for dinner...it was basically amazing. there was a lot of meat :) haha. the only bad thing about it was the stupid waitress spilled lemonade all over my dress (which my mom made..it was amazing)....but as she dropped it on me she said, "oh, i'll give you that lemonade free." oh, hey thanks. it was really lame. after dinner, we went to the dance which was at the capitol building. the weather was perfect...it was kinda breezy, but not bad. the theme was, "you have stolen my heart" from the song, "stolen" by dashboard confessional...which is the greatest song ever. the dance was really fun and i saw a lot of people i knew, even though it was davis people. we went to brysen's house after the dance and watched harry potter. overall, it was butt fun.

what a load.

so basically, american idol last night was a bunch of crap. carly smithson (the irish chick with tattoos) was voted off, and she's freaking amazing! she's one of the best singers out of everyone. brooke white forgot her words, did horrible, and she's still on! she wasn't even in the bottom 2. carly and syesha were, which is lame-sauce.
my favorite is jason castro. even though he's not the best vocalist, he's chill...and i would buy his album. david archuleta and david cook are pretty sweet too. everybody is basically obsessed with david archuleta....but he's amazing, so they should be. and david cook is really cool, and he's an amazing vocalist too. but syesha is really annoying and has a really whiny screamy voice....and brooke white is alright. the girls kinda suck...so i think a guy should win. the end!
